Since moving to London, it’s been nice to get involved in the blogging ‘community’ a little more. I don’t blog to be a ‘blogger’ – I blog so that I can write. However, I’m not going to deny that there are some perks that come along with the blogging thing. When you spend so much time and energy on a project, it’s nice to be around other people who understand and who share things with you. And yes, it’s nice to feel rewarded for your efforts!
Scarlett London is an awesome woman who sets up events for her fellow bloggers. Bloggers Festival was the first I had attended, and I wasn’t disappointed. Not only was there plenty to see and do, it was lovely to meet and catch up with others, too.
Bloggers Festival allows people to get together and enjoy cupcakes and canapes, whilst mingling with other people who share the same interests. A lot of effort had been made in collaboration with Mode Media, and it was a great place for brands to showcase themselves, too.
I got to meet several awesome brands, some of whom I’ll definitely check out again. I think my faves were the ones offering services on the day – that way, you can actually see what they offer!
I had my Eyebrows done by Browhaus…
And I also had a gorgeous glitter tattoo done by Glimmer Body Art Europe. It’s honestly gorgeous and I love the concept!
I also posed for a few really awesome brands, including Cloud Nine hair products…
As well as the gorgeous Nanshy make up brushes…
It’s always a pleasure to catch up with some amazing people. I loved spending time with Beth from Cow Heart Girl, Emma from Emma Inks, Kara from Queen Of The LBD and Angie from Chocolate And Lipstick. As always, it’s nice to see some familiar faces and see some new ones, too.
The gift bags at this event were incredible, seriously. With everything from popcorn to pencils, everything was thought of. My faves were the Kukui Oil Shampoo and Conditioner bottles by OGX Beauty.
If you’re going to a blogger event, don’t be nervous! You’ll have an amazing time! Thanks to everyone involved in #BloggersFestival – you did a great job.
