Gaucho Restaurant, Dubai

I’ve always loved food, but it’s only been in the last few years that I’ve *really* had something to say. Gaucho is an established name back in the UK and I’d heard so much about it. After one of my best friends visited for her birthday recently with me all the way over in the UAE, I decided to Google it… just to look. I was overjoyed to find that it had branched out to the Emirates and so I booked myself a table whilst on my trip to Dubai.  Continue reading

Halloween Fun @ Candy Hearts Make Up & Hair, Liverpool

Do you know what you’re going as for Halloween yet? Eek, I don’t! For the first time in years, I’m not ahead of the game with this stuff – I’ve just had loads else on my mind! When Spain Met London

I love London, but it’s not exactly cocktails on a sunny beach! I’m new to calling the city my home, but whilst I’m still completely enamoured, it’s always nice to be invited for a little break away. Full disclosure: I wasn’t ACTUALLY invited to Spain, but the lovely Frankie who does PR for Mahou did invite me to their very own version in the city, and I must admit they did a pretty good job at being Spanish!

I Had A Facelift At 25!

Relax! I’ve not got into the world of cosmetic surgery. I’m not judging those who do (although I personally feel there’s often an underlying issue when it’s being overused…) but I know that with my good complexion and youthful skin, I don’t need a real facelift just yet. Don’t panic, mum! However, I do have dreadful bags under my eyes, and I am prone to redness (I’m super pale!), so when I was invited to experience a non-surgical facelift at Elysia Health & Beauty in Tansor near Peterborough, I jumped at the chance.
